KOTA BHARU, 10 September 2026 – PMBK was honoured to receive a courtesy visit from a delegation from Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB).

The BIMB delegation, led by YM Raja Datin Paduka Teh Maimunah Raja Abdul Aziz, Group Chief Executive Officer of BIMB, together with 10 members of the Group’s management team, was warmly welcomed by Dr. Mohd Zulkufli Zakaria, Group Chief Executive Officer of PMBK.

The visit featured engaging discussions on potential strategic collaboration between both parties to further stimulate economic development in the state, particularly in relation to the proposed development of Bazar Tok Guru, as well as development opportunities surrounding the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) stations and corridors, including Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), commercial complexes, office buildings, hotels, shopping centres and various other high-profile development projects.

The strong relationship between PMBK and financial institutions such as BIMB is expected to further strengthen PMBK through access to financial facilities, including sukuk, financing and other forms of strategic collaboration, while creating mutual benefits for both parties.
