TUMPAT, 17 September 2026 – PMBK paid a courtesy visit to the Tumpat Land and District Office (PTJT).

The PMBK delegation, led by Dr. Mohd Zulkufli Zakaria, Group Chief Executive Officer of PMBK, together with three officers, was warmly welcomed by the District Officer, Encik Mohamad Nazwan Ismail.

The visit featured discussions between both parties on opportunities for PMBK to serve as a strategic partner to PTJT in developing Tumpat as a tourism hub, particularly along the Palekbang Bridge and Pantai Geting, as well as other potential development areas including commercial centres, hotels, resorts and various eco-tourism projects. The collaboration also aims to create opportunities for the development of downstream industries that could contribute to the well-being and economic prosperity of the local community.

The strong relationship between PMBK and state agencies such as the Land and District Offices and local authorities is expected to have a positive impact on the state’s economic growth, while creating various employment opportunities for the local community.
